"Each community member was welcoming and open to sharing their experiences. What a wonderful way you have set up this community. You can literally feel how supported all members of Brookwood feel and the sense of family that is such a strong part of this community. Seeing Brookwood from the inside, sharing meals, worshipping together, laughing over a game of Skip-Bo, and simply spending time in community, showed me what is possible when people are known, valued, and given the opportunity to belong. Brookwood is so much more than a program or a place. It is a family, and that is something that will stay with me long after this trip. Thank you for welcoming me so generously. I leave encouraged, inspired, and even more committed to building a community where every individual is seen for their God-given abilities and has a place to belong."
